Pirateopedia: Barbarella

Born: 2074

Family: Adopted daughter of Finbar Dunbar. One twin sister, Barbarossa.

Early life: Nothing is known about Barbarella’s biological parents. She was found together with her sister, tucked snuggly down in a whisky crate on the doorstep of The Ruddy Boatswain. When Finbar Dunbar picked them up in his strong arms, Barbarella smiled at him and her sister gave him a slap. So, to reflect their different personalities, he gave them the most beautiful names he knew, Barbarella and Barbarossa.

Career: Finbar Dunbar and his pirate friends did a great job of raising the two girls. The sisters are very devoted to their adoptive father and help him out at the Ruddy Boatswain as much as they can. Barbarella takes care of the entertainment and Barbarossa is the most feared bouncer in the free world. It is widely believed that they also assist their father in secret pirate business, but no-one dares suggesting it in the open, since Finbar and his two colourful daughters take the pirate business very seriously.

Misc: Barbarella is very proud of her thighs as they can turn any man’s head in a split second.
